KSrelief Distributes 1,150 Food Baskets in Karari, Sudan

Khartoum: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has distributed 1,150 food baskets in Karari locality, Khartoum State, Sudan, benefiting 8,395 individuals.

This assistance is part of the third phase of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s food security support project in Sudan.

In the last 3 months, KSrelief continued its humanitarian efforts in Sudan, distributing over 1,800 food parcels in Khartoum and Blue Nile, benefiting nearly 4,000 people. Health initiatives included launching an oxygen station, providing dialysis machines, and delivering medical equipment to key hospitals, reaching over 225,000 people.

Additionally, KSrelief signed a $3.6 million deal with WHO to support dialysis treatment for Sudanese refugees in Egypt part of Saudi Arabia’s wider commitment to aiding vulnerable Sudanese communities.

The initiative reflects Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, carried out through KSrelief, to support people in need and reduce the suffering of affected communities worldwide.
